Sunfish Wrapped!

Wrapped on Sunfish last week, Directed by Lara Cassidy. One of my favorite projects so far to work on. Have you ever felt good after finishing something, felt as though you accomplished something great and were proud of your work? Well that was my experience with Sunfish. I walked away feeling as though I brought more away with me from that project than any other. I can't really put a finger on what it was. Every project I have worked on has been great, though this one I felt I was really coming into my own. Yay for making movies! I love my job!

Busy times for MalG!

Hey!

So there is lots going on in my world right now. So hopefully I'll have lots to put up soon.

I had an awesome photo shoot tonight with Brent McCombs. We worked with a new model, Brandi Roy, who was absolutely wonderful. I can't wait to post the shots!

I'm in prep right now for a film written and directed by Andrew Bush from Pinicface. I'll be key hair, makeup and wardrobe! Woot...like I said busy times!! We start filming next week and it's staring most the Pinicface cast! The script is hilarious so be excited for this one!

I'l' also be working on the film Sunfish, written and directed by Lara Cassidy. We start filming in a few weeks. For this project I will be doing makeup. This is a wonderful and unique story that I couldn't be happier to be part of.

Both films were winners of the CBC bridge award. I am so excited and thankful to be working on both projects.

Montreal!

Went to Montreal with the girlies for the weekend. Took care of my own, long over due wardrobe needs. Funny times with girls and a hotel room with new clothes results in pictures like this...

First Alter Ego shoot at the new studio!

Gary Ferguson makes a promo video!

A few weeks ago I headed out with Gary Ferguson and a small crew to shoot a promo video for Gary's company! Gary rents out various gear, guns and other props for films, he wanted a video to show off his stuff!

We shoot the video at the old Trailer Park Boys set and at the old insane asylum in Dartmouth. Which was scary, whole other story there. I'll explain in a later post.

We started the day by gearing up in SWAT, and continued the day with guns, grenades, fire and smashing windows- that was my job :)

My first blog!

Wow! So I've never had a blog before, but a friend has recommended I get one, mainly to display some of my work and share strange adventures from work and play. So here goes!
