Coming Soon! New Website!

You may have noticed access to www.malloryglenn.com is limited. I am currently redesigning the website with the help of Richard Black.

I will keep you posted on when the new site will be launched. For now I am using my blog as a platform to keep you updated on my most recent work and portfolio.

I will do my best to post my newest photos and projects.

My resume is still accessible through the website.

So what's going on with the website?
I have recently been inspired and have big plans on creating a new look for the site. I plan on sticking with the same theme as the old website, but I wanted to make it bigger and better because well, why not! It's too much fun not too!

Picnicface!

Picnicface is a hilarious crew from halifax. They have made a number of really funny videos, check them out here!

Back in October I helped the gang out with a trailer for their feature Roller Town. I was brought out to do hair and makeup, and as always I had a blast with these guys. I even got to play a small part!

Also to come, Andrew Bush from Picnicface received a bridge award from CBC last year to create a 22minutes short. In December 2008 we filmed Backshift, I did hair, makeup and wardrobe!! Check out the teaser.

Jay Dahl- There Are Monsters!

Portfolio Rehab Day Pics are up!!

Back in March Brent McCombs and I held a Portfolio Rehab Day. We picked some looks we wanted to create and have represented in our books. We then posted a model call and out of those who showed interest we picked the models we thought suited the looks best.

This is Lisa Rose Snow. I was going for a fresh, clean look. Hoping to achieve something you would see in cosmetics ad. I think it turned out really great and am really proud of this! I will give huge credit to Lisa for being the perfect model for the shot. Brent and I knew when aiming for this we wanted Lisa to be our girl.

This next one is Janelle Warren. The look we started with was very clean and powerful, with Janelle in a white dress shirt and tie but then we started to play and this is what we came up with. Janelle rocked the set and brought fierce energy to every shot!

Shoot with Natalie Swift

Here are some photos from a shoot we (Brent McCombs, Alter Ego and I) did before Natalie moved to Hawaii!

Brent had an idea of this queen and he wanted to use a photo that he had taken in Antartica and merge it into a beauty shot. So he showed us this beautiful shot....


He then said maybe we could have a blue turbin of some sort and a jewel pinned on it that will represent the moon from the landscape shot. I took an old full length tutu and a antique broche and we came up with this!

Pretty stunning I think....
