Last Spring I worked on this a short written and directed by Jay Dahl, called There Are Monsters. In October 2008 it was featured on youtube and received a lot of attention. Check it out! Enjoy!

Portfolio Rehab Day Pics are up!!

Back in March Brent McCombs and I held a Portfolio Rehab Day. We picked some looks we wanted to create and have represented in our books. We then posted a model call and out of those who showed interest we picked the models we thought suited the looks best.

This is Lisa Rose Snow. I was going for a fresh, clean look. Hoping to achieve something you would see in cosmetics ad. I think it turned out really great and am really proud of this! I will give huge credit to Lisa for being the perfect model for the shot. Brent and I knew when aiming for this we wanted Lisa to be our girl.

This next one is Janelle Warren. The look we started with was very clean and powerful, with Janelle in a white dress shirt and tie but then we started to play and this is what we came up with. Janelle rocked the set and brought fierce energy to every shot!

Shoot with Natalie Swift

Here are some photos from a shoot we (Brent McCombs, Alter Ego and I) did before Natalie moved to Hawaii!

Brent had an idea of this queen and he wanted to use a photo that he had taken in Antartica and merge it into a beauty shot. So he showed us this beautiful shot....


He then said maybe we could have a blue turbin of some sort and a jewel pinned on it that will represent the moon from the landscape shot. I took an old full length tutu and a antique broche and we came up with this!

Pretty stunning I think....
